Collections is a really cool section that is created by users who group together several Firefox add-ons that relate to a specific idea or concept.įor example, you can install the Reference Desk collection, which will install ScrapBook, Merriam-Webster and Memonic Web Clipper together. It’s also much easier to find themes and collections on the website version. I like this interface better because you can search by categories, most popular, top rated, most users, newest, etc. The second way to find add-ons is to visit the Mozilla add-ons website. For some reason, only the website gallery shows you which add-ons don’t require a restart. Some add-ons will require a restart of the browser and some will not. To install an add-on, just click the Install button. If you already know what you are looking for, you can simply search for the add-on in the box at the top. This will open another tab where you can find and manage add-ons, extensions, themes, plugins, etc. For the former method, click on the settings icon at the far right (three horizontal lines) and then click on Add-ons. Google search just wasn't helping, so I decided to try the 1Password Forum instead to see if there were any threads that I hadn't managed to find via Google. I didn't really want to do that as I knew the extension was working fine before. Unfortunately, this new info didn't yield any new results. Reading manifest: Warning processing key: An unexpected property was found in the WebExtension manifest. I noticed that when debugging the extension (Menu > Add-ons > Extensions (click settings icon) > Debug Add-ons) Firefox was showing a warning:

This weekend, I found myself with some free time and decided to see if I could get to the bottom of the issue. This was a minor inconvenience but because the 1Password desktop app was still working fine and I didn't want to waste any more time trying to fix it, I let it be. When the classic uninstall/re-install advice from 1Password didn't resolve the issue and a few quick searches on Google also proved fruitless, I gave up. Clicking on the extension icon did nothing and selecting login fields on webpages no longer showed 1Password suggestions. Then, about 4 or so weeks ago the Firefox extension for 1Password just stopped working. The switch went great and everything worked well.
